3rd week:

Collage Update!
I decided to make a little collage instead of spamming with individual snapshots.
Top Row from left to Right
Pineapple Chicken
Filipino Picadillo
Bottom Row from left to Right
Sweet and Sour Pork with Fried Rice
Chicken BBQ with Mac n Cheese + Fried Rice
Tuna with Spinach and Mushroom Cheesy Baked Casserole
I changed the menu a little and added some fried rice.
Also we just pair rice with every meal, hence the random lump of fried rice in my plate of chicken bbq with mac n cheese.
The tuna casserole picture was taken before I added the cheese.
There were plenty of people at the lobby aghast at the idea of this combo.
I mean it's just spinach and tuna, it's not bad! (ㆆ_ㆆ)
June
4th week:
Filipino Picadillo
Sausage and Beans
I still need to think of a few more dishes until the month ends.
But I think these are pretty good for now!
*Almost forgot to add this veggie dish, it's tonight's dinner!
Sausage and beans. Heh.

Really appreciate the posts, as I always love discovering new recipes that also not necessarily have to involve 3 days of prep for 15 minutes of eating ![]()

Petkeljärven rantaan vie kivikkoinen Kyymäentie, vaan yhä vielä siitä saa Hevonkuuseen matkustaa
@Avatar Yeah, I make a lot of simple dishes. The chicken pochero was a little fussy to make since it requires Spanish style Chorizo, fried plantains, and garbanzos. I had to omit the extra veggies like beans, bok choy, and cabbages since the budget was gettin a lil tight.
I hate how I was careless and linked an AI recipe. This Chicken Pochero recipe is from a better source!
Lol @Hardelli this is just par the course over here.
We can't just be eating potatoes!
My phone can only add a maximum of six pictures per collage, so annoying. It's fine for now.
Had to do some minor changes to the menu.
Top Row from left to Right
Chicken Adobo + Boiled Eggs
Pork Stew in Coconut Milk + Steamed Okra
Chicken Pastel with Fried Rice
Bottom Row from left to Right
Bitter Gourd Scrambled Eggs with Banana Ketchup
Sausage and Beans
Chicken Pochero
The chicken pochero was my fav this week. The chorizo and fried plantains kick it up a notch compared to a simple chicken stew!
Banana ketchup, also known as banana sauce, is a Philippine fruit ketchup condiment made from banana, sugar, vinegar, and spices. Its natural color is brownish-yellow but it is often dyed red to resemble tomato ketchup
July
1st week:
Pork Tonkatsu
Mapo Tofu
Fried Fish
Pineapple Chicken
Chicken Adobo
Merienda/Snacks:
Graham Crackers in Pastry Cream
I've already snacked on the Graham crackers I need to leave some for the dessert I'm planning to make aaaaaa!
July
1st Week collage!
I made a huge batch of each so they managed to last between July 1-4. I made Champorado, but forgot to take pictures. Oh well!
Left: Pork Tonkatsu with Tonkatsu sauce and Sesame Coleslaw
Right: Mapo Tofu with Mushrooms
I wasn't able to post for the 2nd week menu but I managed to take pics.
July
2nd Week Collage!
Top Row from Left to Right:
Pineapple Chicken
Japanese Potato Salad
Fried Milkfish in Coconut Cream
Bottom Row from Left to Right:
Philippine Style BBQ with Java rice and Fresh Pickles
Salisbury Steak in Mushroom gravy
Stir Fried Sayote
July
3rd Week Collage!
I've been having a busy month but I try to plan the best meals I can with my time and energy. Wasn't able to post the menu, but I took pics!
From Left to Right:
Chicken Macaroni Soup (Chicken Sopas)
Vegetarian Sausage with Buttered Mixed Veggies
Fried Tofu and Pork with Vinegar dip (Tokwa't Baboy)
Fried Marinated Milkfish (Daing na Bangus) with Egg
Garlic Fried Rice + Scrambled Eggs + Vegetarian Sausage
Chicken a la King
The original recipe calls for hard boiled eggs and hotdog added in for extra protein. But I was using 2 chickens! After I shredded all the meat by hand I ended up with so much meat I didn't need the extra protein.
I forgot to add tausi and sauce so I just doubled the vinegar dipping sauce: it's just diced red onion, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper.
My cream split so it came out dark! Huhuhu... It's alright, still came out tasty.
LOTS OF FRIED STUFF SORRY. ;-;
My aunt sent a dubious snack that week, a cheese ramyun.
I had these from a different brand and didn't like it.
SPOILER:
I still didn't like it.
Imagine normal ramen/ramyun but with powdered cheese in it.
That's... it.
꒰ ꒡⌓꒡꒱
I mean if you like that stuff it's fine but...
You'd get the same result just by adding a packet of powdered cheese to your regular ramen!
I'll try to stick to the menu this week.
I overplanned for these to last until Monday, hopefully!

LET'S GO!!!
July
4th week:
Sweet and Sour Pork
Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
Pork Mince with String Beans in Oyster Sauce Stir Fry
Seafood Fried Rice
Kimchi Pork Stew
Chicken Adobo
Cheesy Beef Penne
I just made it sound fancy.
All I could add to the budget was a dubious pack of frozen minced milkfish and imitation crabmeat. I hope they taste good together!
I can tolerate a liver pate but gosh,
I really can't stand liver.
I excluded it for this week's menu along with the chickpeas/garbanzos, raisins, and bellpeppers only because I trimmed off fancy additions to make way for 1.25L of Vanilla ice cream.
So you see, it had to be done. ( ´꒡⊇꒡`)
I made the sauce ahead for the week. 〜(꒪꒳꒪)〜
BONUS!
I cooked enough for a collage before the middle of the week so I'll post it!
┬┴┬┴┤(・‿・├┬┴┬┴
I thought I'd make several smaller meals to reduce palette fatigue.
But it's only been giving me fatigue so far...
It's fun to have a variety of stuff but the planning is too much aaaaaaa
I'll stick to a few big batches every week again lol
Left Column:
Sweet and Sour Pork
Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
Right Column:
Radish and Carrot Salad in Vinaigrette
Brown Sugar Oatmeal with Banana
Cheese Stick Enchiladas
I pressure cooked the beef for an hour first then added them to the stir fry. ( •̀⩊•́ ) ✧
OKAY HEAR ME OUT
One of the other snacks my aunt sent was three packs of frozen cheese sticks.
My brother and I excitedly fried two of the packs one night as a midnight snack.
We took a bite of the first batch and... ???
After eating through half the first package, we both looked at each other to confirm the horrible truth...
THESE CHEESE STICKS GOT NO CHEESE IN THEM!
And so, for the next two weeks, the last pack of frozen cheese sticks remained in the freezer. No wonder my aunt hid these in her own freezer. She got scammed and wanted us to commiserate with her lol.
But I wanted to give it new life in the form of enchiladas and so they disappeared within the same night I baked em. (❁´◡`❁)
The obnoxious blobs of cheese on top is my way of serving justice to this world.
