Petkeljärven rantaan vie kivikkoinen Kyymäentie, vaan yhä vielä siitä saa Hevonkuuseen matkustaa

It's sad to see the disruption that War causes, but I guess it is understandable. :/

I know absolutely nothing about racing, but what does this mean for the drivers? Are the tracks very different?

I'd imagine that they spend time preparing for a specific track and this adjustment might be difficult for them

This track used to be on the racing calendar but hasnt been for a very long time. I think theres only two drivers who have driven on the track, Hamilton and Alonso. The drivers will spend a lot of time on the simulator to learn, or re-learn, the track and then the race weekend itself will have 3 practice sessions. So learning the track will not be a issue.

However, there might be some issues with how the cars work and the two extremely long straights, that only have one corner between them. The way the cars work is they have 50%/50% internal combustion (normal car engine that burns fuel to move) and battery powered and they charge the battery when they brake, or they take power from the combustion engine, which slows the car down a lot. Because it slows the speed so much, they don't want to do the charging with engine too much. So the one braking point between the two long straight might not be enough to charge the battery enough for the latter straight.

If you have any more questions about this, I'd love to answer. And probably confuse you even more lol
