Howdy Partners!

Post by flippydip »

Hey all, hope your day/evening is going swell!

I stumbled across this site while browsing for a classic, old school forum. I feel like communities like this are coming fewer and farther between as the internet grows up (and moves out of home  )

A bit about me:

  • I play in multiple punk bands with one of them being my main job.
  • I can give you some killer song recomendations
  • I'm from Kangarooland
  • I've peaked my curiosity and starting the learning process of decentralising myself from services (I at some point next year, want to look at making my own mail hosting service where I can 1 click generate emails on my domain which will be a fun challenge!)
  • I got engaged a couple of days ago! Very excited and happy about that!

Always happy to lend an ear if you need a chin wiggle / feel a bit down.

Send me any songs you're digging recently! I've been really down a jazz/synth funk rabbit hole recently.

Cheers and have a good day/night friends! :)

Really depends on the bands, there's so many subgenres of punk. Hardcore shows are the ones that look crazy. Most shows I've been and played to aren't too crazy. All the best punk is just really fast and distorted varients of funk music!

I've been having a obsession with Thomas Fersen

Hmmm, sounds interesting. Please, tell me more :D
