The Foyer
The entrance hall. Announcements, rules, and introductions. You are here.
The Switchboard
Help and chatter about the network itself. IRC questions, the bouncer, the
radio, search, and "is something down?" lives here.
The Lobby
General conversation. The async counterpart to #lobby. When in doubt, post here.
The Library
Books, music, film, and the airwaves, including MansionNET Radio. Pull something off the shelf and tell us about it.
The Garage
Where the tinkering happens. Self-hosting, home labs, hardware, code, and the FOSS rabbit holes. Probably the busiest room in the house for this crowd.
The Kitchen
Food and drink. Cooking, recipes, coffee, and what is on the table.
The Conservatory
The bright room full of green things. Plants, gardening, and growing.
The Observatory
For the longer threads and the bigger questions. Science, philosophy, and the conversations that run late.
The Basement
Down the stairs, past the boxes. Off-topic and anything goes.
The house will grow as we do. If a room starts overflowing, we will split it
into more. If you think something is missing, say so in the Lobby.
