Hmm, back in the day I've played CoD, but I don't think I've ever actually played Battlefield tbh

I played Halo back in the day and the Call of Duty people said I played a cartoon game for kids. So I pick Battlefield.

To be honest, I had no idea it was called that. I sort of missed the whole Halo thing, I did play through the first one with my cousin and I knew my friends played the online PC version that required some shenanigans to get working, I guess it was that Custom Edition.

i had learned how to talk to girls by the time halo came out so i never experienced it

Battlefield gets an extra point because Black Ops got ported to PS5 at $40 with separate full priced DLC and a season pass.

Battlefield because i feel like the games are really cool for letting you to make custom servers for the intended game. Call of Duty iirc hasn't done a server browser function.

They killed self hosting and server browsers by Modern Warfare III. You can still self host Modern Warfare Zombies games.
