I wanted to be able to watch stuff with you guys and be able to discuss in real time. I figured out how thanks to a number of helpful people in the chat.
I don't know if I'll keep it running for long, but right now I'm streaming something successfully!
I'm not sure if I should post the link here so just ask me in IRC. And let me know if you have any requests.
What are you using to do the watch party? I know there's been a few that have happened on the irc at various points.
I'm using mediamtx on my server and OBS to stream.
Thanks to candide for recommending it. 
You'd have to talk to Avatar really, but if there was an irc chat for watch parties I'd keep an eye on that one. I've got IPTV stuff setup so I could join sometimes depending on the time.
