Every house has a few rules. Ours are short, because we would rather trust you than police you.
1. Be decent.
Disagree all you like, but argue with the idea, not the person. No harassment, no bigotry, no pile-ons. Treat people the way you would want to be treated in someone else's home.
2. Use the right room.
Post in the room that fits the topic. It keeps the place tidy and makes things easier to find later. If a thread wanders, that is fine, that is how good conversation works. We will move things if they end up badly misfiled.
3. No spam, no scams, no selling.
This is not a marketplace or a billboard. Self-promotion in moderation is fine if you are part of the community and it is relevant. Drive-by advertising is not.
4. Respect the privacy of the house.
Do not repost private messages, dox anyone, or share things that were said in confidence. The whole point of MansionNET is that people get to control their own data. Extend that courtesy to each other.
5. Keep it legal.
Nothing here that would get the house raided. Use common sense.
Moderation is light and human. If something needs attention, the fastest way to reach us is IRC in #lobby, or a private message to a member of staff. We would rather have a quiet word than reach for the ban button.
